“A change in Polish-Russian relations I think is the most important task of the future Polish government in foreign relations – the most important in the sense that it's extremely difficult” Tusk said. “It also demands responsibility. ” In Moscow a senior Russian official said Tusk's victory could be the first step to improving relations with Moscow. “Relations can become more pragmatic” the news agency Interfax quoted Sergei Yastrzhembsky President Vladimir Putin's chief adviser on relations with the European Union as saying.

So it was Monday night as Howland defeated Poland in a shootout to win the Division II district semifinal. The Tigers who outshot Poland 4-3 in the shootout after a 2-2 tie face Mooney Thursday night in the district final. Howland junior goalkeeper Daniel Miller guessed correctly and moved to his left to stop the shot of Poland captain Brian Garcar to decide the contest. Miller also stopped the Bulldogs’ second shooter Taylor Malaniak.

Benny Lau who reverted to the family’s original name is the son of journalist diplomat and a former leading figure in the World Jewish Restitution rganization Naphtali Lavie and is in high demand as a speaker both from the podium and on the air waves. The Laus are descended from a long line of rabbis. Rabbi Moshe Haim Lau the grandfather of the two younger Laus was the rabbi in Pietrekov Poland and was killed by the Nazis. His sons Naphtali and Yisrael Meir were the only members of the immediate family to survive the Holocaust. ALS FRM Pitrekov and a child Holocaust survivor is Rena Quint of Jerusalem who spent time in several concentration camps including Bergen-Belsen. Quint has been invited to attend the opening next Sunday of the new exhibition building at the Bergen-Belsen Memorial. She is due to leave for Germany this week.

The assistance is to be streamlined towards the alleviation of consequences of the last summer s drought according to the Foreign and European Integration Ministry s press service. Ana Fotyga highlighted that Poland will stay Moldova s reliable ally in promoting its European integration aspirations. The official voiced hope that the two countries will further cooperate not only in the context of the EU Neighbourhood Policy but also in the process of integration into the EU structures. For his part Gamurari underscored that Poland has always backed Moldova and thanked it for having responded to the Moldovan authorities appeal of support.
