html –> Comment Print This year’s Microsoft Technology Summit in Poland is set to become a stage for two major events – the world’s first presentations of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 in their RTM (ready to manufacture) versions. “We want to show the history of Windows operating systems. We are going to establish a session in which Windows 7 development process would be shown as well as several other sessions dedicated to Windows 7 security productivity management and integration with Windows Server 2008 R2. ” said Piotr Kaniowski a spokesman for Microsoft Poland. According to him the exact number and subject areas of Windows 7-related sessions are still to be determined.
Poland’s Wichniarek returns to Hertha

Hertha paid a reported 1-million-euro transfer fee torelegated Bundesliga side Arminia Bielefeld for Wichniarek 32who scored 88 Bundesliga goals for Bielefeld in 207 matches from2000 to 2003 and 2006 to 2009. In between he was at Hertha but scored only four goals in44 appearances. “I want to take advantage of this second chanceand make up for what I didn’t do before” Wichniarek told Bildnewspaper. Amid Jewish revival Poland gets openly gay rabbi

But Katz’s life could hardly be more different from that prewar eastern European culture at least in one key respect: He is Poland’s first openly gay rabbi. Born in Argentina 53 years ago to parents who fled Poland before the Holocaust Katz is the latest rabbi to play his part in reviving a once vibrant Jewish community that was all but wiped out by Hitler. He settled into Warsaw’s historic Jewish district in March with Kevin Gleason a former Hollywood producer on such reality TV shows as “The Bachelor” and “Nanny 911″ with whom he entered into a registered domestic partnership in Los Angeles two years ago. They live only three streets from the birth home of Katz’s father in a modern and spacious apartment with their dogs two gentle brown boxers.
